I’m so glad you’re here!
This blog began after I participated in my first A to Z Blogging Challenge in 2015. At the time I had only two blogs, so between travel photos and history lessons, I often posted food-related pictures, ideas, information or recipes. Seeing a spike in views and Follows after every food oriented post, it soon became clear that many of you like to putter about in the kitchen, too. You are just as excited about unusual ingredients as I am, and from your comments, you, too, search for quick meals and fresh snacks, so it made sense to create a third blog focused on baking and cooking – and sometimes dining!
It is always exciting to discover new recipes and to experiment with unfamiliar ingredients – but having the opportunity to share these culinary adventures with others just adds to the fun. Since you are such an important part of this blogging adventure taking place in my kitchen, I can’t wait to hear about your trials and errors and successes. What is your go-to snack? What do you bake when you have to come up with a snazzy dessert? And where do you find the best recipes – Julia? Mr. Hollywood? Betty Crocker? Memories and instinct?
We certainly have a lot to talk about, but before we begin, don your favorite apron, preheat that oven, and pour a cuppa Joe – or herbal tea or whatever you’d prefer. And let’s make something that tastes like more!
